Delanco Township - Delanco Construction Department

The purpose of the Construction Department is to insure all construction is consistent with nationally recognized standards. Codes insure that construction is consistent with reasonable requirements for the health, safety, and welfare of occupants or users of buildings and structures.

The enforcement staff is state licensed, employed by the township, but funded by permit fees and not tax dollars.

The level of enforcement is also a factor used by insurers in determining rates for commercial and homeowner property insurance.

ALL INSPECTORS AND THE CONSTRUCTION OFFICIAL ARE AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING ON TUESDAYS FROM 1PM-3PM. TO SPEAK TO THE CONSTRUCTION OFFICIAL YOU MAY COME TO THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING OR CALL 856-461-0561 EXT 245 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 1PM-3PM ON TUESDAYS. TO CONTACT THE CONSTRUCTION OFFICIAL AT ANY OTHER TIME AND TO SCHEDULE INSPECTIONS, PLEASE CALL AND LEAVE MESSAGE AT 856-461-8754. FOR PLUMBING INSPECTIONS CALL BOB BLOSS AT 848-333-8631 AND FOR FIRE INSPECTIONS, CALL TOM BANYACSKI AT 973-277-8935. GIVE ALL PERTINENT INFORMATION, INCLUDING PERMIT NUMBER TO EACH INSPECTOR.

UCC PERMIT FORMS ARE NOT AVAILABLE ONLINE AT THIS TIME. THEY MAY BE OBTAINED AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 770 COOPERTOWN RD., DELANCO. M-F 9AM-4PM.
