The County Board of Taxation encourages municipalities to conduct a full revaluation or a reassessment when a municipality's assessed value to market value ratio falls below 80%.  Delanco Township underwent a Revaluation Program for the 2007 tax year.  All properties were brought up to 100% market value.  The total ratable base prior to the revaluation was $214,307,200.  Our new ratable base is $461,247,800.  Our average residential value is now $241,000.00, which indicates Delanco Township's growth, and a viable residential market place.  The new 2007 tax rate is 2.035

    WHAT IS A TAX RATE?

The tax rate is determined by dividing the tax levy (annual amount to be raised through taxation by the county government, schools, and the municipality) by the total assessed value within the municipality.
 

HOW ARE TAXES CALCULATED?

(Assessed Value divided by 100) x Tax Rate = Amount of Taxes
