On December 11, 2008 Peter Fritz of the HPAB and Ron Naylor from the Library Board presented a History of the Delanco Sea Scouts at the Delanco Public Library. Committeewoman, Kate Fitzpatrick, presented a Proclamation to Mr. Ray "Pop" Vanamann, on behalf of the Township Committee, in recognition of his many years as both Scoutmaster of Delanco Boyscout Troop 19 and as Skipper of the Sea Scout Explorers of Delanco.
