Construction Department

General Information

The purpose of the Construction Department is to insure all construction is consistent with nationally recognized standards. Codes insure that construction is consistent with reasonable requirements for the health, safety, and welfare of occupants or users of buildings and structures. The enforcement staff is state licensed, employed by the township, but funded by permit fees and not tax dollars. The level of enforcement is also a factor used by insurers in determining rates for commercial and homeowner property insurance.

Inspection Information

• To set up an appointment for an Inspection please email constructioninspections@delancotownship.com , 24 hours in advance.  Have the following information available: Permit Number, Name, Phone Number, Property Address and Type of Inspection.

Zoning Information

 UCC Permit Forms 

UCC Permit multi-part forms may be obtained at the Municipal Building, 770 Coopertown Road, Delanco. Monday-Thursday 8:30am to 4:00pm, Friday 8:30am-12:30pm.  You may also obtain forms online from the NJ Department of Community Affairs, click here for the website.
